Inspired Heart Christmas card

For anyone who was following me last year, you may remember that my then 7 year old nephew asked me if we could make cards together for Christmas.  Well, he asked again this year....on December 7.  Ummm...OK.  I had to seriously figure out how to make quick and simple cards with the time crunch, and this was one of them I came up with.  He chose this design to give to my brother and sister-in-law (his aunt and uncle), and he loved how it came out!  The way it works is, he picks out the cuts, papers, and stamps, and I run the machine and ink the stamps - and that's all I do.  He loves making cards, and hopefully we can finish them all if he ever gets off of punishment (grr...).  Anyway, so here is today's card.  The outside sentiment is a Punkin' Patch Stamp from the Oh Holy Night set, and the inside verses are Clear Dollar Stamps, and the cardstock is from the DCWV Christmas stack from a couple of years ago.  Thanks for visiting today!

Snow Angel Imagine card

Because I am so behind, I am going to be cheating on my cards - a LOT.  This Christmas card season on my blog, it appears as though I will be demonstrating how to make the plainest, simplest, quickest cards in the shortest amount of time possible, lol.  Sorry for the lack of creativity this year, but I did manage to finish off four more cards in about a half hour last night, and here is one from the Imagine Snow Angel cartridge.  The card base was a piece from the DCWV Christmas stack from 2 years ago, and it has some great, non-traditional colors in it!  The inside is stamped with all Stampin' Up!, including the lights wheel stamp.  I finished it off with a couple of Recollections snowflake dimensional stickers from Michaels, and that was it!  Thanks for visiting today.

Simple Christmas cards (again!)

These were made using the SU! Christmas Lodge set and open stock paper from Joann's.  I really liked this double sided piece for this particular stamp set, too.  All stamps are Stampin' Up!, and the inks are Always Artichoke and Cherry Cobbler.  I hope you can see the glitter I added to the "snow" areas on the house.  Seriously, this was so simple that there is nothing else to say, toehr than I made ten of these in about a half hour!  Thanks for visiting today!

Fifteen cards in an hour!

I told you mass production was going to be key for me, LOL!!  These were made with kraft paper from Joann's, patterned paper from K&Co Brenda Walton Shimmer Paper, the SU! set The Sounding Joy, and SU! Cherry Cobbler ink pad.  I know they are very plain and basic, but I think they turned out OK.  I am too far behind to try and get too fancy, lol.  Plus, these are for my Mom to mail out to her friends, so it helps her with not having to have extra postage.  So I got my first cards done and it is December 6th...oh boy.  Fifteen down and 25 to go.  Thanks for visiting today!

Hi!!

Well, if you are reading this, then that means you came back after my loooong absence, and I really appreciate it!  I doubt I will have many readers at this point, but I will continue to post, if for no other reason that to archive my cards.  But I really do hope all, or most, of my followers come back, as I have missed interacting with all of you and hearing from you in my comments.  Man, I am such a slacker...

It has been a crazy couple of months, trying to build my Thirty-One business, and it has been great.  I had a successful couple of months, and now I have no more parties or events until January, so it is time ot get back to crafting.  Once again, my nephew Noah, now 8 years old, has asked for my assistance in making Christmas cards for EVERY family member this year....ummm....it is December 4....and I haven't started ANY cards yet.  So, with that said, there will probably be quite a few Imagine cards and Stampin' up! cards made, lol.  Hooray for mass production!

Anyway, it will be a busy few weeks, so if you are interested in what I will be doing, stay tuned.  And thank you for coming back - although I have noticed several blogs taking some time off lately, so I guess I am not the only one whom time has gotten away from these days!   : )
