The Imagine is in the house!!!!

Unfortunately, I am not, LOL!  I am at my boyfriend's for the weekend, and the I arrived at my MOm's today, so there was no waiting by the door for Fed Ex.  Boo...but that's ok.  From all I've heard, I need to mentally prepare for these updates anyway - I have heard baaad things about update attempts.  Oh well.  After three days of trying to get the Gypsy updated, I realized I will not be able to use it with my I right now - it just got too frustrating with not going through properly.  Anyone else have that problem??

But I digress....I actually have a project today, can you believe it??  This is a graduation card for one of my students, whose party I went to last night.  I used CAC for the panda, since that is our school mascot, ACY for the cap, and Wrap it Up for the tag.  DCWV supplied the patterned paper, I used a few stickers for the title and embellishments, and the stamps are from a pack I got at Michael's.

Thanks for visiting today, and wish me luck trying to update the Imagine and Gypsy!!!  Ugh....haha.

Last graduation card

This one is made almost entirely with MTC, with a file from Wanda's Cards and Crafts, and she has some amazing free SVG files on her blog!  Anyway, I used the school colors to make this card, hit the grad caps with my Divine Swirls folder, the tassel with some blue ink, and then used Amy Chomas' mini sharpie holder for the "Class of 2010" title.  The background mat was the only non-MTC element, and it's from Just Because Cards.  The inside diploma was also part of an MTC file in the gallery, and I printed the inside wording on my printer.  I think that covers it all so, thanks for visiting!

Graduation card #2

This one is straight off the Wild Card cartridge.  I cut the card at 8.5" x 6.3", so the final card size is about 4.3"x6.3".  I wanted to add a little interest to this one, so I used my CB divine swirls folder over the whole thing, and then added another chipboard sticker from the same pack as the first card.  So super simple and quick!  Thanks for visiting today!

Graduation time

This is for my niece, and I'm sorry to say that I got a little lazy with these.  Unfortunately, these cards are for one of those family members (we all have them!!) whom does not appreciate the love and effort and care put into a homemade card.  So, I had to make three of them for her for my mom, my brother, and myself to all give to her, and I got a bit lazy and kept it simple.  The first is a card base from Just Because cut at 10"x7".  I then welded the 2010 from Storybook into the cutout, using my Gypsy.  The background paper is from Michael's, and had to be mounted on cardstock to give it some sturdiness, and I then cut vellum for the inside of the card.  The chipboard stickers on the front are from a K&Co pack at AC Moore.  The other two cards will follow in the next couple of days, so thanks for visiting today!
